I’m surprised that when I mention his name to other criminology professionals that rarely does anyone know whom I am referring to.

Now, if I’m speaking to someone younger, with no criminology background, and giving a fast description of a person
who has similar histrionic traits comparable to those of Ed Gein,
I explain as follows:

“This is the disturbed, depraved person who would create a human skin suit out of his victims. Remember, Skin Suit!”

I remember him showing a local insurance agent pictures of the Gein investigation. The agent said he almost lost his breakfast after looking at them.
